About the Event
Start with the essentials. An introduction to ultrasound technology, machine controls, probes, orientation and the fundamentals of scanning.
Getting started with ultrasound involves more than learning how to use the machine. You need to understand the image, recognise anatomy, optimise what you’re seeing and develop a consistent approach to scanning.
Our Introductory Ultrasound Short Courses break these foundational skills into six focused sessions, giving you the opportunity to build your knowledge and confidence step by step
What You Will Learn

- Probe selection & basic knobology
- Probe orientation and conventions
- Introduction to image optimisation
- Hands-on scanning
Who Should Attend
This course is designed for clinicians who are new to diagnostic ultrasound, have limited experience with ultrasound equipment, or want to refresh their understanding of the fundamentals before developing their scanning skills further.
