About the Event

Learn to recognise what you’re seeing. Develop an understanding of how common anatomical structures appear on ultrasound and begin correlating images with anatomy.

Getting started with ultrasound involves more than learning how to use the machine. You need to understand the image, recognise anatomy, optimise what you’re seeing and develop a consistent approach to scanning.

Our Introductory Ultrasound Short Courses break these foundational skills into six focused sessions, giving you the opportunity to build your knowledge and confidence step by step

What You Will Learn

  • Tissue echogenicity
  • Muscle, tendon, ligament, nerve
  • Bone and fascia
  • Correlating anatomy with images
  • Hands-on anatomy scanning

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for clinicians who are new to diagnostic ultrasound, have limited experience with ultrasound equipment, or want to refresh their understanding of the fundamentals before developing their scanning skills further.
