Lisa Hackett
Lisa has a passion for facial ultrasound and education in the use of aesthetics. With over 30 years of experience, she is a qualified radiographer and sonographer, and a co-director of LDL Solutions, where she focuses on improving client safety and practitioner confidence in aesthetic treatments.
Lisa holds a Master’s in Science (Research, UNSW), a Fellowship of Ultrasound (ASA), and is a PhD candidate at UNSW. She has pioneered musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound, working in sports medicine, orthopaedics, and research since 1993.
Currently, Lisa specialises in orthopaedics, sports medicine, rheumatology, fertility, and aesthetic facial ultrasound education. A respected educator and mentor, she presents nationally and internationally and has published over 35 peer-reviewed papers. Her recent research on tendon stiffness and shearwave elastography has been featured in prestigious journals like the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery and Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine.
